YES! EV ‘s have a gearbox and like any gear box, requires gaskets. Most EV vehicles are equipped with a 1 or 2 speed automatic gear box that instantaneously transmits nearly 100% of its torque from the motor to the wheels. This requires a finely tuned gear ratio to achieve maximum torque and minimum gear noise.
